Santander is a modern, cosmopolitan city in the north of Spain with a long academic tradition in the field of Prehistoric Archaeology history, and extended experience in the organisation of scientific meetings.
The MESO 2010 conference will be held in Santander's Festival Hall and Marine Faculty located on an outstanding site close to the Sardinero, an area known for its famous beaches and amazing views. There are good bus and taxi services between Sardinero and the city centre.
A wide variety of hotels are located within a few minutes walk of the Festival Hall. The conference organisers have negotiated special prices for conference delegates and their guests.
The Technical Conference Secretary, Afid Congresos S.L., will be responsible for managing hotel reservations and confirmations and is available to deal with any administrative issues.
