Call for papers
Oral presentation
The Conference organisers are particularly interested in limiting the number of parallel sessions and reserving as much time as possible for discussions. Consequently, the time allowed for each oral presentation will be strictly limited to 10 minutes. Delegates are kindly requested to prepare their oral and graphic presentations within this time limit. Moreover delegates are advised to limit their participation to two papers.
The procedure will be as follows:
- Proposal (deadline) 31st May 2010
Poster presentation
Poster presentations will be displayed in the hall of the Festival Hall from the beginning of the Conference. Poster dimensions:118.8 cm x 84.1 (DIN A0) (if possible in vertical position).
A session devoted to the public presentation and discussion of the posters is currently scheduled for the afternoon of Tuesday 14th.
The procedure will be as follows:
- Proposal (deadline) 31st May 2010
Organisation of a monographic session, workshop or roundtable
The Santander Conference will accept proposals of themes for monographic sessions. The sessions are currently scheduled for the afternoon of Thursday 16th, although this is subject to change according to organisation requirements.
Session organisers can invite colleagues potentially interested in the theme to participate. The Conference organisers strongly recommend also considering the possibility of evaluating proposals received through the general call for papers. In any case, monographic session participants must be formally registered for the Conference. Organisers of the accepted sessions will be exempt from payment of the Conference fee.
The organiser will be responsible for session development and may organize it in the way that he or she considers most convenient. However, a detailed schedule should be sent to the Local Committee. Moreover, if the session includes the formal presentation of papers, these should be adapted to the general time format. The monographic session will be included in the proceedings of the conference in a separated section. The session organiser should assist the coordinators of the proceedings in editing the presented paper.
The procedure will be as follows:
- Proposal (deadline) 1st November 2009
- Proposal acceptance by the organization ( 15th November 2009)
- Proposal of papers/participation of delegates in the session
- Session inscription acceptance by the Organiser and Local Committee.
If the number of papers inscribed in a monographic session is too low, the organisation may transfer them to the general sessions.
